OWL

waaaay back in summer my friend hayles asked me to make an owl for her, using the fabric from a worn out bag she used to love. She wanted it based on the existing owl cushions that are all over the shops at the mo, so I used them as a rough template and gave it a twist inspired by the mexican day of the dead, flowery skulls. Given that my sewing machine hates me, it made applique really hard... fancy buying me a new one for xmas?
