essay fanzine.

so we did these essays and i did mine on the graphical identity of the uk punk movement (yes graphical is a word) and then we had to present our essays visually via typographic solution and blah blah make a poster and a book in the style of our essay content SO i decided to make a fanzine like sniffin' glue (70s punkzine by mark perry). anyway its taken ages and i just got it printed yday and im so pleased with it i thought id slap it online. ta da.

Ive just been browsing the work of kate moross and i cant believe how amazing she is. shes a graphic designer/photographer/illustrator/fashion designer who tours with hearts revolution, runs a record label and lectures from time to time. kate moross is 22 years old. that is one year older than me. what do i do? a bit of drawing when i can summon up the energy. i want all of these things but i havent even applied for work experience. something needs to change.

like rah. i havent posted in bloody ages. this is because ive had bare asessments and shiz, its been well boring. anyways i entered the lazy oaf tee design comp yesterday... ten minutes before the deadline at 6pm. ouch. still not sure if my designs have been accepted into the comp, fingers crossed. the point is that i made the effort, i can be very lazy when i want. anyways hers the 3 final designs i came up with (in total i did about 8).







im desperate for work experience at lazy oaf this summer, hoping doing the comp will help.
