calling anyone with a spare wall...

I just found this site for anyone who has a good wall and doesn't mind it being used for graffiti purposes. Its also an agency for artists who wish to get some public exposure. perfect for people who are worried about illegally painting on random walls and getting caught, nobody likes a crim rekkid. Soon as I get my own place im deffo signing up.

time flys when you're having fun.

right so I went to see a man about a job on tuesday because this company like rang me out the blue and said they wanted to meet up (for shits and giggles?) or whatever, so I was just happy that somebody noticed I'm looking for work. Anyway I met up with this guy from some employment agency ive never herd of in a big expensive building with a waterfeature (ofcourse) and he asked me what I was looking for, read my CV and then he laughed in my actual face, NO JOKES! i shit you not. well it was more when I said that I was facing prejudice from companies who wont take me on because of my small amount of experience. yes he really liked my use of the word prejudice. so then he notices where I'm from and starts chatting about my area and how he knows it and shit, and I'm like mate what are you doing? I need a bloody job?!? but i dont say this because it is only after this meeting that i realize what a nob jockey he was being. OH YEAH also he said the credit crunch doesnt affect IT work, but when I corrected him since my dad works in IT and his company has been crunched, he starts chatting about getting my dad a job!? that story sounds way funnier in my head.
aaaaaanyway the moral of this story is that i give up and am going to focus on my studies now.
I wrote a list last night. It was most exciting.

So this weekend I met up with Ken and we went to the craftwerk event in euston, SO worth going! I was literally in heaven, it was all these indie DIY craft illustrators, makers and designers, with their own stalls, in this hall attached to a bar. it was free entry and I left with badges, buisiness cards, flyers, a vinyl, a tatty devine lolly, a mix cd and a small china owl, most of which were freebies. boom ting.
After went to shoreditch for a looky in 72 rivington st, but I forgot it was saturday so it was closed. Fierce window display by jiggery pokery.

yeah so I was well inspired after that so I made an octopus (it does have 8 legs, you can't really see the other leg though).
Also was found out ycn have started a summer school "an intensive four week creative programme for six disciplinarily diverse graduates - launching this August"
sounds scary... but exciting!

jokes

I've just found out that my ex neighbours from hell, the cause of more than 10 years of stress and anger for my family and neighbours in the surrounding area, are making an appearance on mondays episode of the hotel inspector!! this should be a laugh. Their house was a complete wasteground, and they were aweful. Johnathan Davis (or dirty john as the other neighbours used to call him) and his wife (not to mention their army of about 5 or 6 kids) fought us until a couple of years ago when the council finally ordered him to sell his house, to our complete relief. Pretty soon after the house went up for sale, a young couple bought the place, did it up and live there with their two kids. It looks amazing now and its nice to have neighbours than don't shout abuse at you and give you dirty looks.
